Masculine Maturity
This upstairs guest suite surprises with a refined yet unexpected palette of hunter green, turquoise, pale peach, medium wood, and black and ivory. The hunter green grasscloth–clad wall sets a moody backdrop, while the fluted bed with softened corners brings balance. Bold and masculine in structure yet softened with feminine touches, the suite achieves harmony through texture, form, and color. The pièce de résistance is the curved, color-blocked rug—a modern yet inviting foundation that ties the story together.

The ivory grasscloth dresser features elegant curves that mimic the bed's architecture.

Bedroom before. We ripped out the crown molding everywhere we could. No thank you.

Fluted Bed with Curved Corners: Strong yet softened—masculine lines rounded by subtle curves.

Wall Sculpture: Dimensional and modern, it punctuates the suite with subtle artistry.

Bathroom before. Can you believe this was a multimillion dollar custom new build? Us either. Thank goodness my client took it over from the previous buyers who started this build..

Once the bathroom was gutted, we started with our inspiration palette.

Masculine angles meet feminine touches in these triangular gold-strand sconces. But who can take their eyes off that shower!?

We used accessories the client had from their previous Preston Hollow home. No need to buy new just to buy new.
