A Sultry Symphony of Color
This master suite is the definition of elevated comfort. We scaled up our custom Kennimer wallpaper for dramatic impact, paired it with Wenge wood walls, and layered in stone blue-gray-aubergine tones with pops of turquoise and black. The room balances bold artistry with serenity, where sculptural furniture and crystal light fixtures feel like jewelry for the space. Every angle offers a surprise, yet the overall mood is calm and collected.

Master bedroom before

Custom wallpaper by Kristi Kennimer is created for the design of the room. Pantone colors are painstakingly chosen and overseen during production.

The client loved the room we previously designed for her Preston Hollow house, so we recreated it here, but with a few new twists: A new black rug, a new dresser and larger scale Kennimer wallpaper create drama.

The deep red-undertone Benjamin Moore paint is Wenge. It perfectly balances the wallpaper’s cool stone bluey-purply background.

Color Crystal Sculpture: A small yet powerful accent that refracts light and infuses the room with shifting color. (We bought a crystal candle holder and turned it upside down....shut. up.)

The use of turquoise and teal provide a fresh relief from the magenta, aubergine, burgundy, stone blue purple and wedge color palette.

A stair-step silhouette introduces sculptural geometry and functional beauty.

A new throw blanket serves as a soft and cozy bed runner for the client's new puppies....doodles. Throw blanket from Scarlet Reagan, of course.

Glass Art Installation: A gleaming pathway that draws the eye toward the bathroom, layering artistry into function.

Even the journey to the master bedroom is is part of the story. It's sultry and dark, setting the mood just right as you make your way down the hall. And while you're on your way, you can't help but fall in love with these handmade white leather strip sconces. Oo la la!.

Because Kristi Kennimer and Jonathan Adler are on the same page, baby, so of course we included these magnificent turquoise showpieces that inject a playful jolt of color—an unexpected twist signature to Kennimer’s design.

Simple.

Sculptural interest.

A view to the master bathroom, which is all neutral textures with bold pops of black. Architectural light fixture nods to the bedroom's confident nature.
