NOW OPEN!

Scarlet Reagan is now open! Come see us at 5812 Live Oak Street in Dallas.

The anti art gallery – Scarlet Reagan is not sterile, pretentious or exclusive. But we do hope to inspire you and to make you feel like part of our family as we would like to be part of yours. Our goal is to leave you feeling joy! We like to find (or create) beautiful things to share. Yes, we sell modern art oil paintings by artist and owner Kristi Kennimer. But we are so much more. You have to come see to understand.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Arthur Ashe had the right idea when he said, “Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can. “ Being resourceful is important to us, and whether we have Ippi and Bob make us one of their famous bespoke canvases, or we paint over a 50-year-old piece of wood, none of that matters to us as long as we are meticulous in our quality, and having fun along the way.

OUR VISION

The goal is to do anything creative we feel like doing. As long as it’s fun, inspiring and happy. We are cooking up a series of collage art that will benefit a local charity that helps our local children in need. Can’t wait to share that with you!

About  THE  ARTIST

Modern artist Kristi Kennimer, owner of Scarlet Reagan, has enjoyed a 20-year career as an oil painter. She's known for her bright, uplifting color palettes and captivating compositions––reflections of her outlook on life. But she insists it's the depth of research and spirit that drive the attraction to her work and keep clients coming back for more.

While Kennimer studied in the U.S. and at the Université de Caen in Normandy, she mostly attributes her success to her innate understanding of color relationships combined with her endlessly contemplative empathetic nature. She feels it is her duty to share these various relationships and studies with others through her work. “Art is meant to be evocative. Why can’t it evoke happiness?”

A breath of fresh air for those who meet her, Kennimer has always chosen to march to the beat of her own drum–– confident and yet unassuming as she walks along her intentional path. She is an artist in her soul, and paints simply for the ability to paint some more.
